Ingredients

  • 1 sheet frozen puff pastry thawed
  • 3 spring onion finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds optional

Instructions

  • Prepare the Puff Pastry: On a lightly floured surface, cut the puff pastry into your desired shape, and use a rolling pin to gently roll it out, making it slightly thinner.
  • Add the Spring Onions: Sprinkle the chopped spring onions evenly over the pastry. Fold the pastry over to encase the spring onions and then roll it out again. Don’t worry if some little air pockets burst; it’s part of the process.
  • Pan-Fry the Pancakes: Heat some oil in a pan over medium heat. Pan-fry the pastry on both sides until it becomes golden and crispy.
  • Optional Sesame Seed Topping: If you like, you can add a delightful touch by sprinkling roasted sesame seeds on top before serving.
