Ingredients

  • 1 cup sticky rice
  • 300 g green beans cut into halves
  • 500 g pork ribs cut into 5cm long pieces
  • 3 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice wine
  • 3 tablespoon fried shallot
  • 2 tablespoon oil

Instructions

  • Add sticky rice and 3/4 cup of water to the rice cooker and cook until ready.
  • In a non-stick saucepan over small to medium heat, add oil, one tablespoon fried shallot, soy sauce, oyster sauce, rice wine, one cup of water and pork ribs. Stir well, put on the lid and cook for 45 minutes.
  • Add the green beans and cook for another 5 minutes until beans are soften and reduce the liquid to about 3-4 tablespoon. (Add some water if it dries out.)
  • Add the cooked sticky rice and mix everything together. Cook for 5 minutes. Add the remaining fried shallot and serve.
